The restaurant’s history is equally impressive. Rolando Gonzalez, the owner, is a native of Matamoros, Mexico, and a graduate of Texas A&M class of 2015. He always wanted to open a Mexican restaurant in College Station where customers could enjoy family recipes passed down through generations from different regions in Mexico. After graduating from A&M, he started his dream and opened the restaurant in 2016 with the vision of serving authentic, flavored Mexican guisados.

The Tacobar offers quality tacos at a great price for their size, all within a great atmosphere. The bold meat marinades pair extremely well with a margarita, and the Michelada is prepared just like authentic Mexican bars make it—salud!
